A Roundup of Vintage Clothing from Lifeline $2 Clothing Sale…..

Sarah and I were up and at it early to join the hoards of people at the Lifeline $2 Clothing Sale. With Sarah in the baby carrier she promptly dozed off snuggled into me, so I was lucky to enjoy cuddles with my girl whilst I rummaged through tonnes and tonnes of clothing. I came home with in excess of fifty items all at two dollars each, some vintage, some quirky, some funky pieces and some current labels, all in all a little bit of everything. Here is a round up of some of my favourite vintage pieces I scored.…

Thrifty & Vintage Finds…..

Do you ever get that little interval voice that says to you that today is the day that you must check out a particular op shop?  Well after a busy morning on Monday and Sarah not napping we needed a change of scenery so, I risked the no-napping little miss and packed us up for a drive. Our little drive paid off with a nice afternoon tea and sweet treasures found. I had not visited this store before and I was pleasantly surprised with it being one of those small op shops that you need to search every nook and…

Thrifted & Vintage Finds…..

Ben sent me for coffee this morning child free to just sit and be after a rough week and that is where I am as I tap out this post for you today. This weeks finds are from any op shopping adventures this week (thanks to the rough week). But they are from a recent op shop visit when I also picked up the scarf and pendant I shared a few weeks back and some of you liked. So I just wanted to share three lovely belts I’ve add to my collection. I nabbed them for a dollar each.  I…

The $20 Op Shop and Thrift Challenge…

I set the challenge a little later in the week for this weeks Funky Finds Friday, but hopefully it was an easy challenge. It was certainly an easy one for me in as much as I had one very short trip out to op this week and scored all my finds at the one place Salvation Army Molendinar. It was one of those trips where you throw a whole bunch of things in the basket and then think you might need to do a cull at the register. To my surprise when I got to the register I was bang…

Review Time – Lifeline Runaway Bay

I know there are quite a few Lifelines around these days and some of them are hit and miss in terms of finds. I also find that with some of the Lifeline stores some of the smaller stores in comparison to the the mega Lifeline warehouses have more selected goodies and often of better quality then you would at the big warehouses. But overall I often find Lifelines pricing to pretty standard across the board regardless of the store you visit……give or take some exceptions of course. But what has made Lifeline at Runaway Bay one that I would want…
