3 Reasons Why it’s Good to Take a Blogging Break….

When the end of the school year hit last year (2014) I made a conscious decision to have a proper concentrated break away from the blog and the creative energy I put into content creation for a few weeks. During this time these thoughts came to mind and I wanted to share them here and I hope they are helpful to someone else who is concerned about or wanting to take a blogging break and wondering what it’ll mean for them and their audiences! ***** Just a few weeks ago I clocked five years of blogging and during those five…

Oh WOW, what can I say. The past three days have been amazing, attending my first ever ProBlogger conference. Leading in I was looking forward to the conference and I was calmly and serenely excited if there can be such a thing. But with the conference over I’m reflecting about what has made it so special and unlike any other type of conference or personal development experience I’ve had in my adult life. What’s “made” the weekend so wonderful for me has been the conversations, friendships and connections I’ve made. I truly believe that no encounter is by chance but…

Didn’t attend ProBlogger 2013 Conference? Here’s how to make the most of others attending…..

Something happened here in my home town this past week which is a big deal in the blogging community. This years ProBlogger Conference was held here on the Gold Coast where hundreds of bloggers from around the country and the world converged on my figurative backyard. I’m yet to attend my first “big” blogging conference, I’ve attended small blogging workshops before and have been active in online and offline blogging communities and gatherings. But as for these big conferences; life, finances, pregnancies and newborns have prevented me from attending my first big conference yet. If there was a conference I would have liked…

We’re here it’s 2013….

I hope everyone’s New Years celebrations were safe and happy ones. If you’re of the resolution making persuasion I’m wishing you luck in your commitment, achievement and fulfilment of your goals this year. With the rather sickly end to 2012 for me I have not put any thought or energy into goals, lists or resolutions. That’s not to say I’m unmotivated for 2013, far from it in fact there are many hopes on the horizon for this year. But I always believe the universe is giving us subtle messages and reminders. So I feel I’ve been reminded recently that things…
